Vido is a white-label SaaS platform for retail and hospitality, offering online ordering, delivery, reservations, reviews, promotions, POS, inventory management, and accounting. Built with a cloud-native, multi-tenant architecture, Vido is designed for scalability, high availability, and global deployment.
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Flutter, PostgreSQL, and AWS to join our core engineering team in Jdeideh.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and maintain microservices using Java (Spring Boot).
- Design and implement highly responsive Flutter applications for Android & iOS.
- Optimize database schemas and queries for PostgreSQL at scale (multi-tenant).
- Implement event-driven architecture using Kafka for real-time messaging and data streaming.
-Deploy and scale services on AWS (EKS/ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, IAM).
- Build robust APIs and integrations with payment gateways, POS hardware, and third-party systems.
- Ensure application reliability through unit testing, integration testing, and automated pipelines (CI/CD via GitHub Actions).
- Apply best practices in security, performance, and fault tolerance for SaaS platforms.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentorship, and architectural decisions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of full stack development experience.
- Strong backend expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices Architecture.
- Proficiency in Flutter for cross-platform mobile development.
- Advanced skills in relational databases (PostgreSQL, Aurora) with experience in query optimization, indexing, partitioning.
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud-native services: ECS/EKS, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, S3, IAM.
- Proven experience with Docker & Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or equivalent messaging/streaming systems.
- Strong command of CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications with high availability and fault tolerance.
- Solid understanding of system design, distributed systems, and scaling strategies.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of GraphQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Hands-on experience with payment gateway integrations (Stripe, PayPal, local providers).
- Previous work on POS systems, e-commerce, or hospitality platforms.
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
