Key Responsibilities:
● Install, configure, and maintain database systems.
● Ensure database availability, performance, and reliability.
● Monitor database performance and optimize queries.
● Implement backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery strategies.
● Manage database security, access control, and data integrity.
● Troubleshoot database issues and resolve incidents promptly.
● Perform regular database maintenance and upgrades.
● Work closely with developers to support application data needs.
● Create and maintain technical documentation.
● Ensure compliance with data protection and governance policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
● Strong experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
● Advanced knowledge of SQL, indexing, and query optimization
● Experience with backup, restore, and replication
● Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery
● Knowledge of database security and encryption
